How to Deploy using Git

Deployment is an integral part of development cycle. It can be a tough job or can be as simple job as running few commands if done by via Git.

login via ssh to in server and get in the root of you server directory. Run the following commands to deploy

git init
git remote add origin git/repo/path.git
git fetch && git checkout main
git pull

you can read here more about adding remote origin to your repo.

Also, if your production branch is master replace main with master.
